I didn't really have any plans when I opened this forum. I was working on a site with some web and seo tools, and thought it would be cool to throw a forum up.
If people used it, cool. If not, no biggie.
Well, Spam moderation has become a big deal. There are not hundreds of spam posts flowing in per day. I don't get here as often as I should, and as a result, sometimes there are far too many viewable spam posts.
There are solutions to this problem, however this website is a hobby for me. I have other sites that take up most of my time. When my schedule relaxes I can put some anti-spam measures in place.
If you have any vBulletin anti-spam suggestions, please post them. I think it would be a good idea to limit URL posting and signatures to members with a certain number of posts. That won't stop all of it, today I deleted some spammers who had 50+ posts.
